Industry – regional presence and internationalization
A major organizational renewal was carried out in the Industry business area to support the strategy. The aim is to strengthen the service business, improve project delivery capabilities, and clarify the division of responsibilities. Two new business units were established in the organizational structure: Projects, focusing on demanding delivery entities, and Services, responsible for developing the service offering and regional presence.
Growth is sought through turnkey deliveries and green transition investments, as well as by focusing on service business close to customers. The reinforcement of regional growth that started in Northern Finland has continued, and it has been expanded to Ostrobothnia, while also building capabilities for internationalization.
At the core of growth are competitiveness development, security, the green transition, technology products and digitalization, as well as lifecycle services.
Advance – developing partnerships and adapting to growth
Toward the end of the year, Insta Advance underwent a substantial organizational reform in order to support the strategy. Advance’s business was reorganized, going from six business units to three.
Significant future growth is pursued by expanding the offering based on customer needs, both nationally and internationally. The aim is to further increase the share of products and services in the business.
The growth strategy was advanced by focusing on network security products for cyber security, exporting AirC2 air defence systems, and developing drone systems. The development of international partnerships and cooperation was also heavily emphasized.
We signed several agreements, one of which was the cooperation agreement signed with Lockheed Martin, which deepens and expands the partnership beyond the F35 fighter project.
