Record order backlog, 15th consecutive year of growth

Insta celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2025. Over these decades, the world, as well as our operating environment and Insta itself, has changed significantly.

Last year, our net sales grew by 12%, we reached record net sales of EUR 197.8 million, and achieved our 15th consecutive year of growth. Our customers rewarded us with a record volume of orders in nearly all business areas, and our personnel and customer satisfaction figures topped their previous highs. We continue to firmly believe in our role to deliver the decisive impact for our customers and to enable long-term growth together.

In 2025, Insta Group reached another record in terms of net sales, which amounted to €197.8 M. Net sales grew by 12.2% from the previous financial period. This was our 15th consecutive year of growth. The group’s EBIT was €14.6 M (7.4% of net sales), and the net result was €13.0 M (6.6%), with both remaining at a good level. In 2027, we expect net sales to grow substantially and profitability to improve, driven by a record-high order backlog and the good market situation.

The Group has two competitively strong and growing business areas. Insta Industry’s expertise lies in electrical automation for the industry. Insta Advance focuses on the defence, software consulting, and cyber security businesses.

Reliable, competent, and motivated personnel who feel good working for us are at the core of Insta’s activities. The results from our annual personnel satisfaction survey were commendable. We are continuously recruiting new people to become part of our high-performance teams. Even though competition for experts in the technology field continued, we recruited a total of 233 experts last year for positions in software development, automation, electrical distribution services, avionics, and cyber security, for example.

For our customers, our responsibility efforts mean more efficient, secure, and sustainable business. 78% of the respondents in our customer satisfaction survey for 2025 felt that Insta has succeeded in helping them reach the responsibility targets of their own organizations either very well or well.
