Insta will take part in Alihankinta, the largest industrial event in the Nordic countries, at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre with an even broader offering from across Insta Industry. Come and meet our experts at stand E 422 and explore our practical demos that showcase how industrial data and automation can be used in real-life applications.
Alihankinta 2026 will be held at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 29 September–1 October 2026. This year’s theme is Growth and internationalization. The programme explores topics such as finding new markets, partnerships and business opportunities, as well as the next steps companies need to take in a changing operating environment.

Growth and internationalization require industrial companies not only to adopt productive technology solutions, but also to ensure operational reliability, safety and the ability to renew in a controlled way. Networked production environments, the increasing use of data, new regulatory requirements and evolving security threats highlight the importance of comprehensive planning.
The entire industrial lifecycle as one integrated whole
This year, Insta is participating in Alihankinta with a broader presence than before, bringing together expertise from across its industrial business. Our offering covers the lifecycle of industrial electrification, automation and digitalization from design and turnkey deliveries to manufacturing, commissioning, maintenance and continuous development.
Our solutions help industrial companies develop their production as a whole:
electrification, instrumentation and automation solutions
finnish cabinet manufacturing
industrial software, data management and analytics
expert services for machine safety and compliance
solutions for OT cybersecurity and cyber resilience, and
predictive lifecycle and maintenance services.
For growth, the decisive factor is not only the adoption of new technology, but ensuring that the different systems in production form a manageable, safe and long-lasting whole. When electrification, automation, software and data are designed to work together, investments can deliver greater value throughout their lifecycle.
Safety is built into the industrial whole
Industrial safety no longer means only an individual safety device or cybersecurity solution. As intelligent and connected machines become more common, machine safety and cybersecurity are becoming increasingly closely linked. Insta’s safety services combine machine safety, the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and OT cybersecurity, covering the production environment from the shop floor to data chains.
The CRA introduces cybersecurity requirements into the design, development and maintenance of products with digital elements. At the same time, OT cybersecurity must ensure the uninterrupted operation of production and critical processes in environments where downtime is not acceptable.
Taking safety into account already at the design stage helps identify risks in time, meet changing requirements and ensure production continuity.
Explore industrial data and automation in practice
At our stand, we will present several practical demos that show how data can be used to develop production, support decision-making and improve operational reliability.
A camera system helps investigate production disturbances
The ibaPDA camera system demo illustrates how production line events can be recorded and analyzed by combining video footage with automation system signals. By combining video data and logic signals to analyze production line events, the solution supports the identification of disturbances and deviations and helps determine the root causes of events in the production environment.
A digital twin helps make better decisions before commissioning
A digital twin is a virtual counterpart of a production process or device, enabling changes to be tested and developed safely before they are introduced into actual production. In the demo, you will see how a digital twin supports commissioning planning, reduces risks and helps identify development opportunities before they become visible in production.
Digital edge control brings decision-making to where data is created
Digital edge control processes production data locally and enables rapid responses without delays caused by cloud services. The solution seamlessly combines sensors, cameras and automation systems into a unified whole that supports production quality and operational reliability. Through the demo, you will see how real-time data processing helps prevent errors and improve process control in demanding industrial environments.
Cabinet manufacturing expertise in practice
At our stand, we will also showcase an illustrative automation cabinet that demonstrates what can be integrated into a modern automation cabinet manufactured to meet customer needs. The cabinet brings together automation, safety solutions, ATEX technology, sensing and data utilization, offering a concrete view of industrial technology.
Come and explore our solutions and discuss with our experts how electrification, automation, data, software and safety can support your company’s growth, internationalization and operational reliability.
