Nurmijärven Vesi is modernizing the monitoring of its wastewater pumping operations together with Insta. The project includes the renewal of the monitoring and control system, the development of the radio communication network, and the deployment of the Insta Wahti® Support maintenance management system. The objective is to improve the reliability, usability, and lifecycle management of wastewater pumping monitoring.
Insta is modernizing Nurmijärven Vesi’s automation system by renewing the wastewater pumping monitoring and control system and developing the radio communication network. The project continues the long-standing cooperation between Nurmijärven Vesi and Insta in the development of automation and monitoring solutions for water utilities.
The solution to be delivered will increase the operational reliability of water utility services and support Nurmijärven Vesi’s long-term infrastructure development. As part of the project, the current monitoring environment will be upgraded to meet modern technological standards with the aim of improving the system’s cybersecurity, usability, operational reliability, and lifecycle management. A faster and more reliable radio network will enhance data transmission between field operations and the monitoring system, supporting the management of disturbance situations and operational decision-making.
At the same time, the Insta Wahti® Support maintenance management system will be introduced to support maintenance planning, monitoring, and proactive maintenance activities. The system helps manage the lifecycle of equipment, plan maintenance measures more efficiently, and support predictive maintenance.
The estimated completion date of the project is towards the end of 2026.
