Insta Automation Oy has signed an agreement with Huber Technology Nordic Ab to deliver automation systems for the Nokia Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of delivery includes the design, programming, manufacturing, and delivery of automation centers for the equipment.
The delivery package covers coarse and fine screens, screenings washers and sand washers, screw presses, as well as the reception, screening, and washing of septic sludge.
Insta is responsible for the SIA contract of the Nokia Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Huber Technology Nordic Ab’s delivery complements the overall solution excellently—ensuring smooth integration of the equipment and efficient automation of the main systems.
The project is progressing as planned, with design work currently in full swing. The first automation centers are scheduled for delivery in November 2025, precisely aligned with the commissioning schedule of the Nokia Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The close cooperation between Huber Technology Nordic Ab and Insta Automation Oy provides significant added value to the end customer—systems integrate seamlessly with process automation, ensuring permit-compliant treatment results now and in the future.
