To better serve its customers in Southeast Finland, Insta is expanding its operations by establishing an office focused on industrial business in Lappeenranta. The new office, opening at the beginning of October, is located on Valtakatu in the Assi Group business park.

Insta Group Oy is a Finnish independent family company specializing in industrial, defense, software consulting, and cybersecurity services. Next year, Insta will celebrate its 65th anniversary, securing critical infrastructure and contributing to the security of supply in Finnish society. In addition to its headquarters in Sarankulma, Tampere, the company has 13 other offices, allowing it to operate flexibly close to its customers.

Insta has decades of experience in comprehensive electrical automation solutions and project deliveries tailored to customer needs. The services cover new and modification investment projects from preliminary planning to commissioning, maintenance, and modernizations. The company operates in various industrial and production facilities, energy production and distribution, water treatment processes, and stage mechanics projects. Approximately 3 million Finns are served by the water management automation provided by Insta.

A Pioneer in Automation, Electrification, and Digitalization Seeks New Experts

In the industry, Insta is known as the market leader in comprehensive services for automation, electrification, and digitalization. With the new office, the company is looking for new experts to work in the South Karelia region and the entire Finnish industrial sector. The company is seeking electrical and automation designers and other professionals to work on various industrial electrification, automation, and instrumentation projects.

"The new office being established in Lappeenranta is a good example of our willingness to invest in service quality close to the customer, this time in the South Karelia region as an enabler of growth," says Aleksi Salmirinne, Director of Industrial Business.

"We have operated locally in Southeast Finland through our installation business, and now we intend to strengthen our presence in the region with the office being established in Lappeenranta. We have several open positions, and as our operations continue to grow, we are looking for new experts, particularly in Lappeenranta, but also in other offices. Insta offers flexible hybrid working, allowing employees to balance leisure and family life with work at different stages of life," adds Olli Järvenpää.

A Record Year in Both Growth and Customer Satisfaction Metrics

Customer orientation is an important guiding factor for Insta's operations. The company measures customer satisfaction through annual surveys, which help it improve its operations. According to the survey results, customers found the collaboration smoother in 2023, and the employees' professionalism was rated very high. The recommendation index for the industrial business area reached a record high of 57.

The year 2023 was also a record year for Insta in terms of growth. The family business, which achieved its 13th consecutive year of growth with a record turnover of 173.9 million euros, aims for even stronger and more sustainable growth in the future. The company's growth and development needs are also supported by facility investments – Insta built new central manufacturing production facilities at its main campus in Tampere, completed in August, and office and production facilities in Porvoo last year.

The turnover of the industrial business area, which focuses on automation, electrification, and digitalization services, was 94.6 million euros last year, an increase of 8.5% compared to the previous year. This accounted for approximately 54% of the group's total turnover.
