Insta has signed contracts on control system modernization for the container washing equipment used in tablet production at Orion’s facility in Turku as well as for the tablet production washing center at the company’s facility in Espoo.
Insta’s contract includes the system deliveries for both facilities, the related engineering and commissioning in summer 2022. In connection with the modernization project for the Espoo facility washing center, the current PCS 7 Server – Client environment will be upgraded to the latest PCS 7 version. The modernization of the washing equipment at the Turku facility is a continuation of a similar modernization implemented previously in Espoo.
In addition to extending the control systems’ service life, cost-effective implementation establishes the readiness to connect the equipment to a higher level production control system.
Both projects started at the end of 2021 and will be completed in summer 2022.
