Cross Domain Guard solutions and data diodes

A data diode is a device that only transfers data in one direction. With a data diode-based gateway solution, you can link networks with different security classifications or protect resources, such as security classified information or automation systems.

Insta Cross Domain Guard Solution is a gateway product that has been approved by the National Cyber Security Centre of Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. It can be used for data transfers between networks of differing security classifications up to security class II (SECRET).

Features 

• Approved by Traficom’s National Cyber Security Centre for use up to security class II (SECRET). 

• Among other things, enables: 
  - deployment of software and security updates to high security networks 
  - user-specific data transfers in line with the security policy without using offline media (USB/CD/DVD) 
  - data transfers between organizations 
  - real-time utilization of open source data in high security systems 
  - remote monitoring of systems and collection of diagnostic information.
