Insta participates in Critical Control Rooms 2016 event in Czech Republic 6-7 December 2016

Insta DefSec will participate in Critical Control Rooms 2016 event held in Prague, Czech Republic, 6-7 December 2016. Key themes at Critical Control Rooms are processes, technology, environment, operations and capabilities, design and people. Insta will participate in Internet of Things event held on 2 November 2016 in Helsinki, Finland. Event is targeted at Business and Technology Management responsible for IoT strategies and technology investments.

ISO 27001 certification for Insta DefSec´s Information Security business unit

Insta DefSec’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been granted ISO 27001 certificate. The certification covers services and deployment projects provided by the Information Security business unit, assuring compliancy with requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard.

As an indication of Insta’s strong security and quality culture, the company has held the ISO 27001 certification in effect continuously since 2002. The certification means that customers and partners can rely on the information security of the solutions and services provided by Insta. The certificate is valid for the next three years.

Henry Nieminen starts as Insta Group’s Chief Executive Officer

Henry Nieminen (51 yrs), M.Sc. (Tech.), MBA, started as Chief Executive Officer of Insta Group Oy on 1 October 2016.

Nieminen’s career path in international business management has been significant. Nieminen’s latest position was that of Managing Director at Fujitsu Finland Oy, where he was also in charge of Fujitsu’s operations in the Baltic region. Previously, Nieminen has led CGI’s Enterprise Markets business unit in Finland.

As Chief Executive Officer of Insta Group, Nieminen will follow Pertti Huusko who is retiring after leading the company for 14 years.

Henry Nieminen sees the Finnish technological development and Insta’s future as promising.
