Insta has entered into an agreement with Valmet for process and building electrical installations and instrumentation installations of the boiler plant to be delivered to Seinäjoen Energia.
Valmet will build the new boiler plant for the Kapernaum heat plant from the foundation upwards, all the way from the fuel feed silo to the stack. The BFB boiler, which utilizes bubbling fluidized bed technology, will enable Seinäjoen Energia to increase the use of renewable fuels in its district heat production.
The construction of the boiler plant began in the fall of 2021. Insta’s share will begin in December this year and end in August 2022. Between 5 and 15 professionals from the installation department will work on the site at various stages of the project. In the delivery, the equipment will be installed from the medium voltage equipment until the commissioning of the instrument circuits. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2022.
Seinäjoen Energia is an energy company owned by the city of Seinäjoki, which provides its customers with electricity, district heating and water supply services.
