Insta DefSec Oy, a high-tech company in the fields of security and operational reliability, and the Estonian Defense Forces have entered into an agreement on the delivery of a new air defense simulator. Intended for training use by the Defense Forces, the simulator is based on Insta's SimCore® terrain visualization. Simulator-based training enables savings in training costs and diverse practice in a realistic environment. The simulator delivery marks a continuation to the good cooperation between the Estonian Defense Forces and Insta that begun in the 1990s.
Insta DefSec's defense technology business focuses on smart command and control systems and operational picture systems, simulators and LVC (Live Virtual Constructive)-based management of real and virtual situations in demanding environments, of which Finland's HX project will be a prime example.
