Mika Lignell started 1st of September 2022 at Insta Advance Oy as Senior Business Development Manager and his main focus area will be Insta Blue Aware product line. Engineer Captain (ret.) Mika Lignell has 20 years of experience in military command and command systems development and life cycle management. He has served Finnish Defence Forces in Signals School, Army Academy, C4Agency and most lately in Joint Systems Centre, where he was sector leader of Joint Operational Systems and Project Manager. Mika Lignell has also extensive experience of international cooperation and interoperability, including roles as FIN representative in international working groups and leadership in many interoperability tests.
Insta Blue Aware product line offers tools for Situational Awareness, Task Management and Communication. Main customer segments are Defence, Cities, First Responders, Event Security and Critical Infrastructure.
“Before military I had work experience about Sales and Marketing of industrial automation products, as well as experience in starting a new business as entrepreneur. I hope this previous sales and marketing experience combined with my years in military systems development creates a good foundation in my new assignment.
